resolutions reviewed

i had a resolution about news reading everyday and after much consideration i have decided to scrap it because i realised 80% of the reported news has zero relevance to what i want and how i live.

information is useless until you need it – i must learn how to not KIV information. i am not inclined to be a walking encyclopedia neither does my brain has the capacity to register all the things i’ve read. why waste time reading and then forget it one day later?

i’m going to live by that principle i read – if it’s important, you will know! that is pretty much how i’ve lived over the last 20 over years.

so over the weekend, i’ve unfollowed a bunch of people and organisations on twitter.

i’m going to start eliminating, eliminating, eliminating!

no more facebook games. no more this, no more that. essentially, back to how i used to be but better.

“It’s not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential.” Bruce Lee

i’m so inspired.
