i was telling my mum we should throw this fan away since it is: –
1. so old 2 not functioning as it should and 3. it’s falling apart.

she then told me the story of this fan.

my dad was hospitalised and felt very warm in his ward. his dad, which is my grandpa, bought him this fan so that his stay in the hospital would be more comfortable. this was the last thing he bought for my dad before he passed away.

i guess it must have meant a lot to my dad who still misses his parents dearly.

i then told my mum, “ok ok, don’t throw, we keep in the storeroom ok?”
